- Scold your Agumon until his Discipline is FULL (even if his Happiness drops to angry).
- Train on Speed x 6 and Digivolution should occur somewhere in between. Congrats! Your Agumon has Digivolved to Greymon!! (TIP: 100% Discipline as well as ZERO CM's is the KEY - and Parameters should be more or less balanced/even amongst themselves).
- No more training from now on. Start feeding Chips (so go to Item Bank and retrieve your Brain Chip and MP Chip and use them).
- Get your ration of Giant Meat for the day.
- Quicksave.
- Stock up on Items: Meats, Sm. Recoveries, Auto Pilot(s) and a couple MP Floppies to prepare for the journey ahead.
- Let's now head back to Drill Tunnel to the screen where the pile of the dirt used to be. The tunnel is now opened. However, a massive boulder is blocking the path to Lava Cave. Get your Greymon to push the boulder aside and step in.
- Now find Meramon. Battle (you should own him with Spit Fire). RECRUIT (+ 2 PP, total: 12). Get Off Chip (and use it right away).
- Next, get the rest of the Items from Lava Cave (NOTE: Don't miss that hidden area on the northeast screen - the one with two Item PCs containing an Off Chip and a Quick Chip - again, beef up your Greymon with them).
- Also, before you leave, check out the southwestern soon-to-be-opened Drill Tunnel's entrance. NOTE: Do not forget to talk to the Drimogemon there.
- Auto Pilot back.
- Quicksave.
- Sell the S. Def Disk you found in Lava Cave for 2000 Bits (you can also sell the Medicine and the Protection as well - or save them).
- Moving along. Due to Meramon's earthquake, the rocks blocking the road to Mt. Panorama have been removed. Head that way.
- Find Unimon. Just give him a Sm. Recovery to heal his injuries. RECRUIT (+ 2 PP, total: 14).
- From here, take the northeastern path. Get the Items from the Item PCs and check weird markings on the floor.
- Auto Pilot back to File City.
- Quicksave.
- Stock up on plenty recovery Items.
- Now let's head over Great Canyon Entrance. You can now walk over the invisible bridge to access Great Canyon. So head in.
- Find the elevator and hit up to reach Birdramon's nest. Battle (Spit Fire and some recoveries would suffice). RECRUIT (+ 2 PP, total: 16).
- Back at File City, check Yuramon's rumors (this time about bandits in Great Canyon).
- Before going to sleep, Quicksave at Jiji's.
- Then talk to Jiji about the City's prosperity. The PP is 16, so head outside and be confronted by en enemy Greymon. Battle (again, Spit Fire and a couple recoveries will be enough). RECRUIT (+ 2 PP, total: 18). Get Off Chip.
- Next, take Birdra's Transport and fly to Great Canyon.
- Sleep and Save.
